Guitarist | Music Teacher | Content Creator

Matheus Zanandrez is a guitarist and music educator with over 15 years of experience, dedicated to both performance and teaching. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Popular Guitar at UEMG (Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais), he has studied with several renowned national and international masters, refining his craft and musical expression.

His passion for music began at the age of 13, when he started learning guitar on his own. At 15, he joined the Centro de Música Anaceli Abreu, studying under teachers Nikole Góes and Lívia Itaborahy, who helped him develop his musical ear and stage confidence. Influenced by his father, Matheus grew fascinated by the solos of David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), which inspired him to become a guitarist.

In 2014, he began studying with Roberto Leite, deepening his knowledge of guitar techniques and music theory. Over the years, Matheus has also completed various courses in tone shaping and equalization. He has performed in several band projects and is currently the founder and guitarist of Uai Georgia, a John Mayer tribute band.

Beyond the stage, Matheus is the creator of the YouTube channel “Guitarrista Sincero”, which has gained over 20,000 subscribers and reaches students across Brazil and around the world. Through his content and teaching, he emphasizes that true musical growth starts with self-awareness and clear goals.

“The role of a music teacher is to help students achieve what they truly aspire to.”
