The pedal capability and construction are top of the line
Well worth the investment to say the least-
It's not an original circuit but this EQ pedal is probably better than my trusty GE7, at less than half the price. Ten bands give me all the tone control I need and the level slider let's me balance the hot output with the dry, true bypass signal. It also functions as a boost depending on how you use it. I definitely recommend this pedal.
I have a GE-7 as well as the yellow plastic knockoff so I thought I was pretty well set. I saw the Sonicake pedal and something told me to check it out.
Boy was that a good move. First of all, the frequency range goes from nearly subsonic to higher than my guitars will ever go. Ten bands gives me incredible tone shaping flexibility, and the volume slider can be used to balance the output or even as a signal boost. The sliders have a center click which makes it easier to dial in a tone from a totally flat signal. I'll almost certainly buy another one for my small rig pedalboard.
